Sterling Community School
It was a wonderful Thursday morning at Sterling Community School in celebration of Read Across America 2024! I had the opportunity to read “Why America Matters” by Dr. Ben Carson and Valerie Pfundstein, to the combined 3rd grade classes.
Not only did the children enjoy the book, but they were also a very spirited bunch and asked me many questions about my role as their state representative and how important this job is to me.
I want to thank these wonderful students, along with the educators at Sterling Community School for making me feel so welcomed!
Our children are so important to me, and spending time with them this morning absolutely made my day!
