The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that wrong way detection installations will be performed on I-84 east and westbound in Farmington starting Monday, March 11, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 39, Route 4 Jug Handle. Traffic will be detoured from Route 4 at the loop and will be closed heading east to the traffic signal. Traffic can continue straight onto I-84 or take a left onto Route 4 (Farmington Ave.) eastbound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 pm to 5:00 am., Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
