Cooley: Pavement Marking Project on State Routes in the Greater Hartford Area

State Rep. Francis Cooley (R-22) wants constituents to be aware that the Connecticut Department of Transportation will be performing a pavement marking project on State Routes within the Greater Hartford Area starting on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a pavement marking project will be performed on State Routes within the Greater Hartford Area starting on Sunday, April 7, 2024. The project consists of pavement marking grooves and epoxy pavement marking applications on center lines, shoulder lines and handwork on State Routes within District 1. This project is scheduled through Friday, November 8, 2024, with work by Safety Markings Inc. No work will be performed the day before or day after all State recognized holidays.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel, sign patterns, cones, and truck mounted attenuators will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is Sunday, April 7 to Friday, November 8, 2024, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday – Friday on secondary routes and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on expressways.
