State Rep. Jay Case was sworn into office on Wednesday, January 4, beginning another term representing the 63rd District. Case will serve as the Ranking Member to the Human Services Committee, and will also serve on the Higher Education and Aging committees over the course of the 2023 and 2024 legislative sessions.

You can review the major topics that the legislature is expected to take action on by reading the Office of Legislative Research’s “Major Issues” report.

The 2023 session will adjourn on Wednesday, June 7. Prior to adjournment the legislature must craft its two-year state budget. A document that Rep. Case is eager to work on in order to provide much-needed tax relief to Connecticut’s residents and businesses.
