Carpino Documents Jobs Pond Flooding Damage

Recently, Portland Town Selectman Ryan Curley and I visited the residents of Jobs Pond in Portland to assess rising waters and flooding damage. As homeowners face 40+ inches of rising water, some are have

used sandbags, cinderblocks, and water pumps to combat the flooding, while others have been forced to leave their homes.

I will continue to collaborate with local, state, and federal authorities to explore resources to address public health and safety concerns.
