The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong-way detection system installation will take place on I-95 southbound, at the Exit 65 off-ramp to Route 153 in Westbrook.
This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday evening, June 24 and be completed on Wednesday morning, June 25. The rain date will be on Wednesday evening, June 25 and be completed on Thursday morning, June 26. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
RAMP CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect a temporary ramp closure on I-95 southbound at the Exit 65 off-ramp in Westbrook on Tuesday evening, June 24, 2025. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 66, turn left and follow Route 166 under the highway and then turn right to merge with I-95 northbound, to Exit 65 in Westbrook.
