Your input is important to me as your State Representative. During this part of the legislative session there are many public hearings regarding proposed bills, along with the ongoing state budget debate.

In terms of the state budget, the nonpartisan Office of Fiscal Analysis today indicated that our state budget numbers are now even further in the red. I urge you all to read the following story: CT finances take another big hit as projected revenues plunge. It accurately depicts the reality of our budget deficit for the current fiscal year (through June 30, 2016), which could be as much as $266 million.

Please know that I will continue to keep you informed on the budget as we delve into the 2016 legislative session. Stay tuned for more updates.
