Its always a pleasure to have an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of members from our community. Yesterday, I joined several of my colleagues to congratulate the East Haven Co-op hockey team on their recent Division II state title.
The team includes Lyme-Old Lyme High School students Chris Anderson (goalie), Benedict Frazier (forward), Carter McGlinchey (defense), and Callahan LaCourciere (freshman), along with students from East Haven, Sheehan High School, East Hampton High School, Morgan High School, and Valley Regional High School.
Their impressive 7-3 win came against Cheshire, who had defeated them in the title game the previous year. Congratulations to everyone involved with the team on this unforgettable accomplishment!
