    State Rep. Devin Carney on Monday recently JLN Associates and Top Rung, a local organization focused on providing the Power, Government, and Industrial Markets with high quality, and innovative solutions to their industrial safety, fire protection and loss prevention needs.

    The tour, led by John Nickerson and Tom Negrelli, allowed Rep. Carney to witness firsthand the importance of the safety services this business provides at its facility located on 43 Hatchetts Hill Road in Old Lyme. In operation since 1999, JLN Associates and Top Rung “is important to Old Lyme’s local economy,” Rep. Carney said. “I’m grateful I had the chance to tour this facility and talk to John and his employees. It is imperative that Connecticut encourages small business growth and that our government listen to the needs of innovative business leaders like John.”

    Rep. Carney discussed the need to keep businesses like this in Connecticut by creating common sense proposals and working to remove anti-business tax policies.
