Street takeovers are taking place more frequently in communities throughout our state. These lawless incidents not only endanger the public’s safety, but the safety of our local and state police officers who are forced to respond to them.
This session, I was proud to join my colleagues in taking an important step to not only prevent these types of incidents from continuing, but to also send a strong message to those who may not be so easily deterred.
