    CTDOT Announces Rail Fare Changes to Shore Line East

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced the finalization of rail fare changes for Metro-North Railroad services in Connecticut and CTrail Hartford Line and Shore Line East services.

    The first of two proposed 5% fare increases will go into effect on Monday, September 1, 2025 and second to occur on July 1, 2026.
