COFFEE WITH CARNEY

On February 26th State Rep. Devin Carney (R-23) met with Old Saybrook residents at his monthly coffee hours at Dunkin Donuts on 1635 Boston Post Road.
Rep. Carney answered constituents’ questions about the Governor’s budget proposal, tolls and addressed local issues.
“With the recent unveiling of our state’s budget this month, providing my constituents with accurate details is more important now than ever before – it’s my job to relay what’s going on here at the Capitol in a transparent way,” said Rep. Carney. “I take this role very seriously and will continue to hold these monthly office hours.”
“I want to thank everyone who joined me this month with great questions,” Rep. Carney said. “A critical part of the legislative process is learning about what’s most important to fellow community members. These monthly events are undoubtedly a great opportunity to do that.”
On February 19th, Rep. Carney met with constituents in Lyme and he will hold his monthly office hours in Old Lyme & Westbrook during the month of March, details will be released soon.
