As a coastal state, the boating industry plays a significant role in our local economy. It supports our manufacturing and retail industries, creates jobs, businesses both small and large, and is a major driver of tourism to our state. As a representative for a shoreline community, it is always a pleasure to be invited to the Hartford Boat Show and talk with local business owners and support their efforts to promote their industry and our state.
If you’re interested in attending, the boat show runs through Sunday, January 19.
