    Rep. Jason Buchsbaum (R-Southbury) met with the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection at the State Emergency Operations Center at the Armory in Hartford. He was joined by other members of the Public Safety and Security Committee for the tour. There was also an informative briefing regarding the State’s emergency operations by DESPP Deputy Commissioner Brenda Bergeron and the Director of Emergency Management William Turner. Rep. Buchsbaum also welcomed the opportunity to discuss emergency preparedness with DESPP Commissioner Ronnell Higgins.
