Rep. Buchsbaum Meets with Southbury Police, Station Dog

I stopped by the Southbury Police Department recently to meet the new station dog, Luke.
Deputy Chief Steven Cifone was previously employed as a lieutenant at the Southington Police Department, where he was paired with Luke through the nonprofit K9’s for Warriors program. Luke is a great addition to the department. We also discussed current operations and the SPD’s recent transition from the Connecticut State Police resident state trooper program to an independent police force.
The Southbury Police Department is hosting a Coffee with a Cop event this weekend where Southbury residents can meet Luke and the officers at AM Coffee & Co on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
