A virtual public informational meeting will be held via Zoom on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Registration is required. The purpose of this project is to replace aging and outdated traffic signal infrastructure with new equipment to fit current standards.

According to the CTDOT, full replacements may include span poles, mast arms, pedestals, signal heads, span wires, conduits, vehicle detection equipment, and/or signing and pavement markings. Both full and partial replacements may include modifications to pedestrian control features such as pedestrian countdown heads, push buttons, sidewalk ramps, and sidewalk extensions.

    Full replacements are proposed for:

    • Routes 6 & 67 (Main St N) at Heritage Rd / Old Waterbury Rd
    • Route 67 (Southford Rd) at S.R. 487 (Kettletown Rd) & Community House Rd
