Bill Supported by Rep. Bronko Creating Fallen Officer Fund Signed Into Law

HARTFORD – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, highlighted the recent signing of PA 24-27, a new law that will establish a fund for the families of police officers who have died in the line of duty.

This legislation started as a House Republican initiative, passed both chambers, and will provide an immediate – and untaxed – benefit payment of $100,000 to a surviving family member or beneficiary.

HARTFORD –  As part of the 2024 Legislative Session Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, co-sponsored several pieces of important legislation that gained passage in the House.
