NAUGATUCK – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, is partnering with the Connecticut Partnership for Children and several local businesses to help those in need through the organization of a diaper drive for local families.
Parents need assistance throughout the year and Rep. Bronko, a father of two, including a newborn girl, is hoping that all residents who can participate will lend a hand during the donation drive.
“As a father of two, including a newborn, I know how much diapers can cost new parents, especially with rising prices that bite into a family’s budget,” Rep. Bronko said. “It’s incredibly important to me that families have a resource to lean on during difficult times and this was a way we could help. Also, I wanted to give a huge thank you to all our local businesses for providing space for our donation drop boxes – it just shows the community spirit that makes me proud to represent Naugatuck.”
The drive will begin on Aug. 6 and continues through Aug. 22.
Four drop-off locations in Naugatuck are available for all donations:
- CT Partnership for Children Inc. (98 Olive St.)
- Fulling Mills Deli (218 Prospect St.)
- Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe (87 Maple St.)
- DeRocco’s Wiches Bagels and Brews (157 Quinn St.)
The list of needed items is on the attached flyer and includes new diapers and pull ups of all sizes, as well as diaper wipes. Every donated item goes to help a Naugatuck family in need.
