(HARTFORD) — According to statistics provided by the House Clerk’s Office, State Representative Tim Ackert (R-Tolland, Coventry, Columbia, Vernon) achieved a perfect, one-hundred-percent, voting record in 2022.

During the 2022 Legislative Session, Rep. Ackert cast votes on all 265 separate pieces of legislation that came up for consideration on the floor of the House of Representatives. Only about 40 percent of legislators achieved a perfect voting record this session.

“Taking my voting responsibilities seriously is my priority as a legislator,” said Rep. Ackert. “The supportive and hardworking residents of Assembly District 8 have placed their faith in me to serve as their representative and they deserve a transparent voice on every piece of legislation that is presented to the legislature.”

Throughout the 2022 session, Ackert served as a member to various legislative committees including Higher Education and Employment Advancement, Energy and Technology, as well as General Law, leading the fight on significant social and economic issues relative to his district.

The 2023 Legislative Session will convene in January.
