The Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee will be holding a public hearing tomorrow (Friday, March 15th) on three significant tax related bills that would have a tremendous impact the residents of Connecticut.

Rep. Green Co-Sponsors Tax Credit Bill for Businesses who Offer FMLA

HARTFORDState Representative Robin Green (R-55) has recently co-sponsored a similar bill to one she introduced last session, designed to provide a tax credit to employers who voluntarily provide paid family and medical leave benefits to their employees in addition to creating a Family and Medical Leave Accounts Program.

“This bill, unlike others being proposed this session, supports businesses around the state by offering incentives instead of taking a one size fits all approach,” Rep. Green said. “Additionally, it doesn’t rely on mandatory reductions to the paychecks of taxpayers in order to fund an account that may or may not become insolvent.”
