Rep. Christie Carpino, Brenda S. Mierzejewski, and Ellen Foster celebrate the opening of Victorian Inspirations, Tuesday in Portland. Carpino purchased Mierzejeski’s signature product, Lip Luxe.

Local Portland celebrity, and owner of Mizzi Cosmetics, Brenda S. Mierzejewski, was on board for the ribbon cutting. Mierzejewski recently had her ‘Lip Luxe’ lip balm featured at the 87th Academy Awards Ceremony in more than 200 celebrity ‘swag’ bags.

Carpino said it’s great to have business booming in Portland.

Following a vivid and interesting career, Foster said she decided to follow her dream and open a boutique. She said she chose Portland due to its small town charm and the friendly residents she’s met over the years.
