PURA to Host Eversource Hearing
The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) has temporarily suspended Eversource’s recent rate increase while it conducts a full review, the purpose of which is to ensure that Eversource is not over-collecting revenues in the short term at the expense of ratepayers.
PURA has scheduled a formal hearing process for Monday, August 24, at 10:00 a.m., in which Eversource will respond to questions posed by PURA and other formal parties to the PURA process.
It is important for the public to weigh in on this matter and let their voices be heard.

How to Participate in the Hearing
The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s hearing will take place on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., via remote access. Access instructions are set forth below. The Authority may continue the hearing on additional dates, as deemed necessary.
