State Representative Joe Zullo (R-East Haven) strongly opposes legislation that limits the scope of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by exempting employees in the Office of the Attorney General from disclosing certain information in a FOIA request.

Zullo Fights for Local Zoning Control – HB 5390

Yesterday, I helped lead the opposition to HB5390, a bill which makes it even easier for developers to bully our local towns and use zoning laws as both a sword and a shield.

The bill deprioritizes towns that don’t agree to hand over local zoning control to unelected bureacrats in Hartford and will almost certainly concentrate more rental housing in the hands of big developers who already inflate rental costs.
