    Recently, I joined Gary Byron on the “Talk of Connecticut” to discuss House Bill 6944, known as the “Towns Take the Lead” bill. While the nickname indicates that this would prioritize local control, it ACTUALLY relies on our state to dictate how and where we place new affordable housing.
    There IS a housing crisis in our state, but a solution MUST require the input from local towns because only they know what’s best for their communities.
