Yesterday, July 1st, many new laws that may affect you and our community went into effect.

Public Act 19-117 – An Act Concerning the State Budget for the Biennium Ending June 30, 2021
Public Act 19-103 – An Act Establishing a Pilot Program for Expansion of Advanced Manufacturing Certificate Program
Public Act 19-191 – An Act Addressing Opioid Use
Public Act 19-17 – An Act Concerning Workers’ Compensation Benefits for Certain Mental or Emotional Impairments, Mental Health Care for Police Officers and Wellness Training for Police Officers, Parole Officers and Firefighters.
