State Rep. Tami Zawistowski participated in a two-hour-long facility tour of Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford today. The legislature this year voted on an incentive program to bolster Connecticut’s aerospace industry, fostering the creation and retention of jobs and protection of our national defense. United Technologies Corp., which is the state’s largest private employer, does business with many smaller companies in the region, and many employees reside in the area too.
