Zawistowski Achieves 100 Percent Voting Record

HARTFORD—State Rep. Tami Zawistowski registered a 100 percent voting record during the 2015 legislative session, according to recently released data from the House Clerk’s office.
Zawistowski, serving the 61st General Assembly District, is among just 57 members of the 151-member House of Representatives to achieve the 100 percent score.
“I’m honored that people have sent me to Hartford to do a job on their behalf—to serve as their eyes, ears and voice in the halls of the Capitol,” said Zawistowski, whose district covers Suffield, East Granby and part of Windsor. “Without conscientious representation, the voices of communities—small towns in particular—can get lost in the shuffle. It’s a responsibility I have and will continue to take seriously.”
Zawistowski cast 379 votes in the House this year.
The next regular session of the legislature will convene in early February, when Zawistowski will continue her role as a member of the legislature’s committees on Appropriations, Planning and Development, and Transportation. She is also a vice chairman of the bipartisan rural and agricultural caucus.
