Will Power for Veterans Event Takes place in East Granby

East Granby – Rep. Tami Zawistowski participated with Donna Chapman during the Will Power for Veterans (Willingness to Change) event, which supported the non-profit’s goal of building a retreat center for veterans and first responders to recover from the physical and emotional wounds endured while serving our country and our communities. Chapman founded the organization in memory of her son who lost his life as the result of his traumatizing experiences in Afghanistan. Two days of fundraising took place, with a Saturday golf tournament at Copper Hill Golf Club in East Granby; and Sunday poker run starting and ending at Suffield VFW Post 9544.
