STUFFING a Cruiser to Benefit Suffield Community Aid!

On a gorgeous, cloudless Saturday morning under a bright blue sky, State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61), was joined by members from the Suffield Police Department and Suffield Community Aid to collect non-perishable food items during the annual Stuff a Cruiser event!
Set up just outside of the Suffield Village Market, the volunteers – thanks to the remarkable generosity of the local community – collected a Police SUV full of food supplies and cash and Venmo donations to directly benefit Suffield Community Aid!
Rep. Zawistowski said it was a great day and it was so nice to see and talk with a steady stream of friends and neighbors who stopped by to donate! The Stuff a Cruiser event raised $658.28 for the food pantry!
She also thanked Suffield Community Aid Executive Director Mary Curtin, Board President Elizabeth Kaplan, board member Alan Fahrenholz and Social Services Coordinator Beth Sheridan, Suffield Police Officer Zeke Donnelly, School Resource Officer Alex Scata, K-9 Handler Officer Randy Roman, and Police Cadets Mateo Ayala, Jack Fitzgerald, and Niko Orlowski.
