HARTFORD – On March 10th, State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) invited two youth sportsmen to Hartford to testify in a public hearing before the legislature’s Environment Committee. Both students spoke on HB 1149 – An Act Eliminating All Restrictions on Sunday Hunting on Public and Private Property in support of permitting Sunday hunting in Connecticut.

Caleb Kleinman of East Granby and Sara Daigle of East Windsor, both 12 years of age, recently graduated at the top of their class in sportsmen training and have supportive families who have made strong investments in their sporting career.

The students were met with appreciation by the members of the Environment Committee and were interviewed for television by FOX 61 following their testimony.

I have included written copies of each of their testimony.
