HARTFORD – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) recently welcomed students from the Suffield regional agriscience program to the State Capitol Building at part of Agriculture Day.
“It’s always a pleasure meeting with student groups at the Capitol and sharing an inside look at their government,” shared Rep. Zawistowski. “Agriculture Day recognizes the important role of farming in Connecticut, and I’m proud to serve communities that celebrate that agricultural heritage.”
After a hiatus during the pandemic, the annual ‘Ag Day’ hosted by the State Department of Agriculture returned, bringing together farmers, Vo-Ag students, interest groups and legislators to celebrate Connecticut agriculture.
