    WINDSOR – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) and the Windsor Legislative Delegation presented a Congratulatory Citation from the General Assembly to Northwest Park & Nature Center to recognize the opening of their expanded sugar house.

    Sugar Master Chuck Drake accepted the Citation on behalf of the Friends of Northwest Park.

    The Citation was offered, “In Recognition of The Grand Opening of the New Sugar House at Northwest Park. This Achievement is the Culmination of the Hard Work and Generosity of the Friends of Northwest Park and is an Import Enhancement of the Park’s Educational Programs. Since 1981 the Friends of Northwest Park have Supported the Development of the Park and Nature Center Which Offer Both Educational and Passive Recreational Opportunities Within a Unique Learning Environment for People of All Ages and Abilities. We Commend the Friends of Northwest Park for their History of Generosity, Giving their Time, Funds and Efforts to Enhance this Wonderful Asset for the Town of Windsor within the State of Connecticut.”
