Windsor Locks – State Representatives Tami Zawistowski (R-61) and Scott Storms (R-60) joined state and local dignitaries for a relaunch ceremony at the New England Air Museum to celebrate the completion of major capital improvement projects. Instead of cutting a ribbon, dignitaries were asked to throw paper airplanes to compete for distance. With the help of the CT Department of Economic and Community Development, United Technologies Corporation and private foundations the museum now boasts two public observation mezzanines, improved class room spaces as well as improvements to lighting and HVAC systems. The museum attracts 65,000 visitors annually and hosts a world class collection of aircraft. For more information you can visit their website www.neam.org.
