    Dear Friends & Neighbors,

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation recently shared an announcement regarding milling and resurfacing on I-91 between exits 36 and 45 that could impact your commute. Read the announcement below for details and information about lane closures:

    I-91 Pavement Preservation Project

    in Windsor, East Windsor and Windsor Locks

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-91 Northbound and Southbound in the towns of Windsor, East Windsor and Windsor Locks to begin June 9, 2019.

    The project consists of milling and resurfacing I-91 NB and SB from mile point 44.12 to 50.77 in the towns of Windsor, East Windsor and Windsor Locks. This project is scheduled to begin June 9, 2019 with an anticipated completion date of September 30, 2019. 

    LANE CLOSURE INFO:

    Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 NB and SB from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM Saturday and Sunday.

    Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving this vicinity.
