Windsor Locks – Reps. Tami Zawistowski (R-61) and Scott Storms (R-60) recently visited the Connecticut Fire Academy with local Fire Chiefs and other members of the North Central Connecticut legislative delegation. The Tour was led by State Fire Administrator Jeffrey Morrissette and Public Fire and Life Safety Coordinator Alan Zygmunt and focused on how the facility is used and integrated in the statewide system of regional fire training schools. Both Representatives are members of the legislature’s Appropriations Committee and members of the new bipartisan Fire/EMS Caucus, they asked questions about operations, expenses and how recent budget changes have impacted their ability to deliver services.
