At the start of a legislative session day in the House of Representatives, State Rep. Zawistowski introduced Lindsey Vigue, Executive Director of Donate Life CT, liver recipient Kevin Prue, and 15-year heart transplant recipient Dennis Thomas to the chamber.
Established in 1985, the Connecticut Coalition for Organ and Tissue Donation (CCOTD), d/b/a Donate Life CT, is a statewide coalition comprised of volunteers with a shared interest in public education about organ, eye, and tissue donation and increasing the number of transplants that save lives.
