New Drive-Up Testing Available at Bradley International Airport

On Monday, Hartford HealthCare opened a drive-up coronavirus testing site at Bradley International Airport. The testing site is located in Parking Lot 3 at 86 Schoephoester Road, Windsor Locks and is available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This service allows for safe testing without the need to leave your vehicle. The test itself takes less than five minutes and patients typically receive the results within 3-4 days, although it may take longer during busy periods. Testing is also available for airline travel passengers inside Bradley International Airport.

    Holiday Travel

Per the governor’s executive orders, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state other than New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island, with a positive case rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents, or higher than a 10% test positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average, or from a country for which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Notice, are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state or country. Travelers can be exempted from the state’s 14-day quarantine period if the traveler has a test for COVID-19 in the seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival in Connecticut or at any time following arrival in Connecticut, the result of such COVID-19 test is negative, and he or she has provided written proof of such negative test result to the Commissioner of Public Health.
