Rep. Zawistowski Honors Winners of Congressional App Challenge

Hartford – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) presented a legislative citation to the 2^nd Congressional Districtwinners of the 2017 Congressional App Challenge. The winners were Gianna Guzzo, Marissa Guzzo, and Alexandra Smith, from Suffield. The students currently enrolled at the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering High School. Their winning idea was an app called ‘Feel Good’ designed to help those suffering with mental health challenges. The Congressional App Challenge is an annual contest to promote STEM fields and computer science learning. For more information visit www.congressionalappchallenge.us.
