State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) was able to meet up with students from Suffield High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) program, and friends from Hastings Farm, at the State Capitol for Agriculture Day.
“As always, it’s great to see Suffield FFA in the community and advocating for their program and increased investments in agriculture, at the Capitol,” Rep. Zawistowski said. “I am fortunate to represent a community that celebrates, preserves and continues to grow our local agricultural heritage.”
Known colloquially around the complex as “Ag Day” it is an annual tradition hosted by the State Department of Agriculture at the State Capitol that brings together farmers, Vo-Ag students, special interest groups and legislators to appreciate Connecticut Agriculture.
