HARTFORD – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) was joined Wednesday by a number of Suffield Residents at the Capitol in Hartford who were there for Autism Awareness Day. The group included a number of advocates from The Foundation for Exceptional Children of Suffield (FECS), promoting their new initiative “Project Keep Me Safe” designed to protect children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and others at risk of wandering/elopement.
