The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a vegetation management operation will be performed on Route 9 from exit 29 to exit 37 in Cromwell, Berlin, and New Britain. The project is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 14 and completed on Friday, September 5. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
There will be ramp and lane closures on Route 9 from exit 29 to exit 37 in Cromwell, Berlin, and New Britain starting Monday, July 14 to Friday, September 5, 2025, during the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday – Friday. Traffic signing patterns, detours and trailer mounted attenuators will guide motorists through and around the work zone.
