Representative Makes Every Vote of the 2022 Regular Session

HARTFORD – For the second straight year, State Representative Donna Veach (R-30) has again achieved a perfect score for votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives during the 2022 legislative session.

Each year, the House Clerk’s Office releases the data on members’ votes during the Regular Session and Representative Veach was present for all 264 votes taken during that time, one of only 62 lawmakers to receive a perfect score.  On average only 20 to 30 percent of legislators able to do so in a given year.

“I take my responsibility to the people of the 30th District very seriously,” said Rep. Veach. “Being present to ensure the voices of Berlin and Southington residents are represented on each and every single issue is something I’ve been fully committed to since being elected in 2020. I will continue to fight for the taxpayers of Connecticut, support our local and state police officers, and advocate on behalf of more business-friendly policies that encourage our state’s growth rather than continue to hinder it.”

Rep. Veach represents the towns of Berlin and Southington in the General Assembly. She serves as a member of the Education, Judiciary, and Planning and Development Committees.
