The passage of SB-7231 is great news for families who were previously unable to hunt together due to scheduling conflicts. This expansion which takes effect October 1, will now provide them with an opportunity to do so on Sunday. The law maintains hunting must take place on private lands over 10 acres and not within 40 yards of public trails. It also excludes hunting migratory birds.
