I wanted to share that the Town of Putnam is one of 46 towns in Connecticut to receive a Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant. Putnam has been awarded $1 million for improvements to the Saint Marie-Greenhalgh Sports Complex, which will be matched by $200,000 from the town.

This complex is vital not only for the residents of Putnam, but for the surrounding area as well. Thank you to the governor for recognizing this important project.
