Rep. Scott Provides Bill Tracking Resources to Constituents

Posted on April 11, 2024

I want to pass along some helpful resources as the 2024 General Assembly session gets into the meat of our work. A majority of the 27 legislative committees have each voted out dozens of bills for further consideration. It can be daunting to figure out what has been advanced to the House or Senate, but there are some useful links to wade through all of our work.

You can do a general search of bills, by number, title, committee or legislator.

You can also scroll to the bottom of that page to search by subject.

For example, I’m a member of the General Law Committee and we moved bills on a range of topics forward for further consideration. You can search for those under subjects like professional licenses or consumer protections.

To view a list of bills voted on by each committee, visit the Connecticut General Assembly website, click ‘Committees’ and then from the drop down menu you can select the committee of cognizance you are looking for. Within each committee’s landing page, you will be able to find ‘Bills Reported Out Of Committee’ on the right-hand side of the screen.
