    HARTFORD- Brookfield State Representative Martin Foncello (R-107) and the Ranking House Republican on the General Assembly’s Housing Committee Tony Scott (R-112) will be co-hosting a Housing Moratorium and 8-30g Presentation at Brookfield Town Hall next month.

    The presentation by the lawmakers will include a brief history of the 8-30g state law, some of the major affordable housing policy changes over the last few years, and housing proposals in the omnibus HB 5002 bill vetoed by Gov. Lamont from the 2025 legislative session.

    The Housing Moratorium and 8-30g Presentation will be held at the Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Rd on Tuesday, July 8th from 6pm-7pm.

    Rep. Scott previously hosted a similar forum with Rep. Mitch Bolinsky in neighboring Newtown.
