I was honored to be presented with the CTAA Legislative Champion Award from the CT Apartment Association. I am proud of the work that I’ve accomplished as Ranking Member of the General Assembly’s Housing Committee in recent years to bring balance to legislative proposals.
We as a state should be working with housing providers to better support the industry so that more people will be able to afford a quality place to live. We also must advocate for tenants and be their voice when they can’t speak up on their own behalf. Housing providers play a crucial role in helping to tackle the issue of homelessness in Connecticut.
CTAA includes apartment communities, apartment owners, managers, developers, suppliers, and professionals who promote and advance the needs of the apartment industry in Connecticut.
