State Representative Tony Scott shares two funding awards announced for the Town of Easton this month.
The CT Bond Commission approved $1 million for Easton Public Library. The funding will be used to expanded the children’s department and other renovations.
The Town of Easton has also been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Connecticut Department of Agriculture. Municipalities can apply for grants to cover activities such as youth ag education. Easton will install raised garden beds and a greenhouse to extend the growing and learning season at the schools.
