HARTFORD – State Representative David Rutigliano (R-123) has been named a recipient of the 2025 AARP Legislative Achievement Award by AARP Connecticut in recognition of his leadership in advancing consumer protection legislation.
On behalf of its nearly 600,000 members across the state, AARP Connecticut selected Rep. Rutigliano for his work strengthening laws to rein in automatic renewal contracts and ensure clear, upfront price disclosures for consumers when purchasing goods and services.
“AARP Connecticut is proud to recognize Representative Rutigliano for his leadership in passing important consumer protection measures that benefit residents across our state,” said Nora Duncan, State Director of AARP Connecticut.
