TRUMBULL- Trumbull State Representatives David Rutigliano (R-123), Ben McGorty (R-122) and Tony Scott (R-112) will be holding a ‘Restock the Shelves’ Food Drive for the Trumbull Food Pantry outside the Trumbull Stop and Shop on January 13th.

The Trumbull lawmakers wanted to hold the Food Drive knowing that after the holidays the Trumbull Food Pantry can become depleted just as the winter temperatures begin to plunge.

The State Representatives will be outside the Trumbull Stop & Shop on January 13th on 100 Quality Street, Saturday from 9:30AM-12:00PM to collect food and other donations for the pantry.

Rep. Rutigliano mentioned how the food pantry is always in need of non-food items, like, laundry detergent, dish soap and hygiene products, and shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste, deodorant.

Here is a full list of needs for the Trumbull Food Pantry: https://www.trumbull-ct.gov/573/Food-Pantry-Needs-List.

Additionally, monetary donations or gift cards are appreciated. Checks can be made payable to The Trumbull Food Pantry (Please do NOT mail cash) and mailed to: TRUMBULL FOOD PANTRY – 23 Priscilla Place – Trumbull, CT 06611.
